Salman Khan biography

He is born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on 27th December 1965 in Indore as the eldest son of script writer Salim Khan and Salma aka Sushila Charak. Notable bollywood film actress Helen is his stepmother.

Salman entered to the bollywood film industry through Biwi ho to aisi film in which Rekha and Farook Shaikh were on leading roles.

But his way to the stardom started with super hit film Maine Pyar Kiya film. This film was the super hit film of 1989 and this film was dubbed into many languages.

Salman Khan was also a part of 1991 hit Sanjay Dutt's Saajan film. 1994 films Andaz Apna Apna and Hum Aap Ke Hai Kaun made his acting career strong and Hum Aap Ke Hai Kaun mega hit films of that period. See more at Salman Khan Movies.

Salman Khan likes luxuary cars and motorbikes and he has a collection of luxuary cars like BMW M5, Range Rover Vouge, Lexus LX470 etc.
